At Quaystage Training we are proud to be able to provide Duke of Edinburgh Award groups and individual participants the opportunity to undertake challenging sailing expeditions within the UK and overseas.
All of our Sail Camp or Dive Camp voyages (7-10 days) qualifies for the residential section of the DofE Award.

With Quaystage Training you can also gain credit for the expedition section of the Silver and Gold Awards on board our vessels.
Throughout the season we run 9 day DofE voyages, especially for groups or individual young people wishing to sail as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.
These expeditions are classed as 'Other Adventurous Projects' and involve a considerable amount of preparation time before the expedition voyage, to ensure that the group is taking as active a part as possible in the running of the boat.
This preparation time involves theory sessions, expedition planning and both an introduction voyage and a practice expedition.
Saturday - Day Sail: learning the ropes on the vessel
Sunday - Theory Day: learning basics of navigation
Throughout your expedition, our instructor will be there to teach you what you need to plan and lead your expedition. During the expedition stage he will be assessing you, but also be there to ensure your safety and that of the other crew on board.
We run our DofE Expedition Voyages during most school Holidays. These include half-terms, Easter and Summer Holidays.
