5 Day School Easter Break Adventure (Yachts)
Minimum of 6 Students - Maximum 32 per booking
Embarkation - Join vessel Sunday afternoon from 1500 hrs at embarkation location. (Location is dependent on embarkation Marina for trip this will be agreed with the School Group leader).
Disembarkation - leave vessel Friday at 10 am
Training Included - RYA Start Yachting, RYA Competent Crew.
Students will join vessel as part of the crew of their yacht. learn how to sail, plan their route, prepare food, and undertake practical lessons which can be related back to national curriculum subject areas. The week also include activities such as visits to local places of interest, a beach BBQ and other activities.
From the week students will gain in confidence, develop teamwork and social interaction skills. As well develop skills through experiential learning platforms.
Sail Camp and provide a fundraising pack, and provide your school with a dedicated liasion officer.
1 x Teachers space is optional and dependent on vessel.
