School Life

Skills Workshops and Seminars

Quaystage Training run Life-Skills Workshops and Seminars at schools nationally. Aimed at bridging the gap between skills learnt in schools, colleges, universities and the work place environment.

These are one day off, time-table events, held in the schools and colleges themselves.

Skills sessions include

  • Creative thinking
  • Qualities of leadership
  • Project management for non project managers
  • Marketing
  • CV writing
  • Interview techniques
  • Negotiating  skills
  • Teamwork and responsibility
  • Time management

Students meet employers face-to-face

We invite employers, apprenticeship and graduate recruiters to present during the programme and assist the students in undertaking subject-lead tasks to stimulate understanding and learning,

These Workshops and Seminars are a fun and creative way of obtaining new skills and meeting employers and can be used as an alternative to the more formal career events in a school or college hall.
